The importance of nutritional control and supervision of physical activity
Patients with neoplastic diseases, at the time of diagnosis, usually present with malnourishment, drop in their muscle mass, and have vitamin deficiencies that negatively affect the quality of life of the patients, increase the toxicity of oncological treatments, produce immunosuppression, with the resulting greater risk of infectious complications, as well as poor outcome of surgical interventions.
