Our goal: to improve your quality of life

At IVOQA we aim to improve people’s quality of life by providing support within medical, nursing, and social care. We have a special unit for international patients, where we offer comprehensive medical coverage in addition to helping and providing support with patient admission, scheduling appointments, interpreting results, and offering support in all administrative procedures with the company.

In order to see to patients all over Spain and indeed the world, we offer our patients care and medical evaluations via video consultation, available in Spanish or English.

In addition, the Viamed Hospital Santa Elena has an exceptional assistance and facilitation programme to welcome patients from other parts of Spain and abroad.

We help our patients with the following:

  • Preparation of travel documents.
  • Arrangements with hotels near the hospital for accommodation.
  • Patient meeting service and support within the hospital for patients from outside of Madrid or abroad.
  • Medical reports in Spanish and English.

During your stay:

  • We provide you with an interpreter so you can understand your condition and progress at all times.
  • We advise you on the best treatment and diet for your specific case.
  • We coordinate all the tests that need to be carried out through our Care Units.
  • We arrange contact with a travel agency to advise you about your stay.

After your stay:

  • A follow-up review date is agreed.
  • We advise the pharmaceutical service to find the equivalent medicines in your home country.
  • We provide you with all the reports produced by the Hospital.
  • We offer an online communication channel for any questions patients have after their stay.
