Oncology Physical Training
IVOQA’s oncology physical training service is available in three formats:
These programmes allow patients to receive support during their hospital stay, from home or at the gym, depending on the option selected.
Whenever the patient’s clinical condition allows, our physical trainers and physiotherapists begin working directly with the patient in their hospital bed or in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), in coordination with surgeons, oncologists, intensive care specialists and nursing staff.
The programme is individually designed and adapted according to the patient’s clinical progress.
In collaboration with 4per4mance, IVOQA offers a personalised online training service.
Each patient receives an exercise programme adapted to their diagnosis, physical condition and personal goals.
The programme is updated weekly and can be followed from home, supported by guided videos providing detailed instructions for each exercise.
IVOQA offers in-person oncology exercise programmes at its gym, individually designed to support patients before surgery, during recovery, throughout chemotherapy and after completing treatment.
These personalised training programmes are also available to patients receiving treatment at other centres.
Discharge from hospital does not mean the end of the programme. Once the patient returns home, the IVOQA team adapts the training programme to the next stage of recovery.
Follow-up can continue either in person at our specialised gym or through an online programme.
We are with you every step of the way to ensure that physical exercise is safe, effective, and an active part of your treatment.
