  • General and Digestive System Surgeon, Oncological Surgeon. Specialist in Peritoneal Surgical Oncology, early, advanced, and metastatic stages of cancer.

  • Director of the first and only international course on the minimally invasive treatment of peritoneal disease: laparoscopic peritonectomy, laparoscopic HIPEC, PIPAC, and ePIPAC (organized as part of the official courses of ESSO – European Society of Surgical Oncology).
  • Member of the Board of Directors of the European Society of Surgical Oncology (ESSO), leads the Strategic Relations Committee of the International Society for the Study of Pleura and Peritoneum (ISSPP), Member of the Cancer Prevention Committee at the European Cancer Organisation (ECO), Secretary of FESEO (Spanish Federation of Associations of Oncology), and is actively involved in the dissemination of information on peritoneal disease for both patients and professionals via social media.
