Far from being a mere statement of intent, this mission is implemented through a robust quality evaluation and improvement system, with a clearly defined methodology.<\/p>\n

We approach Quality by developing a set of guidelines that direct the actions of all professionals providing services at Viamed, ensuring that every patient cared for in our centers receives attention at the expected levels of care, quality, and safety.<\/p>\n

Quality is understood from a broad perspective, with a particular focus on two key aspects:<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Clear focus on the patient experience, based on the implementation of a sophisticated patient satisfaction evaluation system using the NPS (Net Promoter Score), which provides real-time information and allows for individualized approaches for each patient, as well as specific action plans at the center level to address key areas for improvement.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Maximum dedication to patient safety, a determining factor in the entire care process and a fundamental aspect for Viamed. This is demonstrated by the fact that all group centers have held the UNE 179003 Patient Safety certification for years, which is awarded when external auditors verify the existence of a patient safety culture in the hospitals and the implementation of safe practices.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

We strive to obtain accreditations and certifications from well-recognized organizations, as we understand that this is the way to demonstrate to our patients, through objective evidence and independent audits, that our centers comply with the highest standards of healthcare quality.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

All Viamed centers hold ISO 9001 certification (for quality management) and UNE 179003 certification (for patient safety), covering all healthcare and support services provided at the centers. The certification approach used is a multisite approach, which certifies Viamed as a whole rather than each center individually.<\/p>\n

Through this approach, the external certifying body confirms that Viamed centers operate with common principles, values, procedures, indicators, and tools, ensuring that all patients treated at any of our centers receive care at the expected quality levels, following the \u201cViamed Model.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

We use the standards of the Joint Commission International as a reference for developing our working systems, and our medium-term goal is to achieve accreditation for one of our centers.<\/p>\n

These global quality and safety certifications for the entire group are complemented by other specific certifications obtained by some centers in the areas of infection prevention and control (UNE 179006) and residential care management (ISO 158101).<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
